The university town of St Andrews is an exceptionally attractive place to hold the World Saxophone Congress XVI. The University's beautiful main concert hall seats nearly 1000 and we have convenient rehearsal facilities, a wide variety of performance venues of all sizes, and plentiful accommodation and restaurants all within easy walking distance in this charming and ancient coastal town.

The University of St Andrews gives its full support to this event, which coincides with the University’s 600th anniversary celebrations and with the Olympic Games in London. We will host an internationally renowned orchestra, symphonic wind band and jazz ensembles for gala evening performances.
